Vinyl Record Jacket

For my Senior Show at Western Michigan University, I re-designed the vinyl jacket for Tame Impala's album "Currents". The process included capturing my own images, building the jacket template in Adobe Illustrator, post-edit in Photoshop and constructing the jacket itself. This album has themes of transformation, breakup, and accepting yourself - all culminating in a style of nostalgic psychedelia. Through imagery, typeface, and colors, I was able to convey a fresh take on the album's cover, while maintaining the core vibe.
